Matchy Ma


Matchy is a Registered Industrial & Organizational

Psychologist and a renowned Corporate Trainer and Coach. He has more than 20 years of considerable corporate and managerial experience working in MNCs. By infusing research-based psychological principles and solution-based program design into his talent development work, Matchy has been successfully nurturing leaders, teams and employees of a diverse array of organizations, taking them from good to great, from surviving to flourishing. Through his client-centric consultancy services, interactive and value-creating workshops, engaging and enthusiastic facilitation, Matchy has a proven track record of success in helping organisations drive employee performance and engagement.

He has been expanding his consulting team from 0 to over 10+ professional trainers/ facilitators from the Asia Pacific Region. 

Prior to establishing Talent Academy Limited, Matchy served as Senior Regional Training Manager at HSBC and HR Specialist at Wal-mart. He also worked in global HR consulting firms, including PDI and FranklinCovey as a Consultant.

Matchy was a Column Writer (工於心計) for the HKEJ (信報). He was interviewed by Ming Pao, HKET, RTHK on topics ranging from “personal management”, “career development” to“psychology”.

As a Christian, Matchy has completed  a part-time Master program “Marketplace Theology” in the China Graduate School of Theology 


As a Registered Psychologist, Matchy likes observing, talking and analyzing people. Be mindful when you meet Matchy in person. 


As a Husband and a new Father, Matchy is now taking on a life long learning program in “Parenting”. 


As a sportsman, Matchy had won many medals in track and field sports. Today he runs primarily for leisure.
